Age: Lost track at 5,217. For legal purposes, he's 40.
Height: 5 foot 11 inches
Weight: Not much, he's very slight
Eyes: Dark
Hair: Curly brown, but its greying at the front and his temples.
Clothing: A sweater, jeans and a button up shirt. And leather shoes. Also wears a gold ring on his left ring finger out of habit rather than actually being married.
Profession: Professor of history at Fenway College, Boston. Also runs an inn.
Hobbies: Violin, military history and flying planes. Also restoring a Supermarine Spitfire that's currently in his garage. Have I mentioned he doesn't own a car? This is why.
Personality: Laid back, calm, opinionated but respectful. Likes to help people. Something of a skeptic and can have a sharp tongue.

Abilities: Apart from his aging VERY slowly, he's a normal guy. He comes from a different reality, and as a result ages with his own world rather than Earth, where he lives. It's all wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.
Chosen by: The Book

Brief Biography (as its difficult to sum up 5,000 years in a paragraph or two):
Geoffrey fell to Earth approximately 5,000 years ago. He ended up in the Desert between Israel and Babylon. After wandering about alone for a good many years, he ended up with a group of Samaritans, who brought him to Samaria (the capital city of Israel), where he lived for a great many years until he ended up traveling to Judah. Then the Romans showed up, so Geoff went off to Italy for a while before moving to what is now Wales following the death of Marcus Aurelius.
For the next several centuries, Geoff split his time between Wales, France and Italy befriending lots of cool people like Dante Alighieri and telling stories. He also began playing the violin nearly as soon as it was invented. He plays well, but has had nearly 500 years of practice. By no means is he a natural player, he has just had lots of time. Once he picked up the violin, he largely stopped story-telling.
By the time of the Renaissance's end, Geoff had left Italy and settled mostly in Wales. Following the French Revolution, he spent significant time in France, but left once Napoleon came to power, returning after Waterloo. In Paris, he met Victor Hugo. The two maintained an epistolary friendship until Hugo's death.
Geoffrey came to the United States in the late 19th century, with all intentions of going to California. He got sidetracked when in New York and ended up going north to Boston, where he stayed until 1938. Sensing that things were going poorly in Europe, he returned to England where he enlisted in the Royal Air Force. These days, he tells his students it was his grandfather who did.
Following the war, Geoffrey returned to Boston where he opened an inn and got some degrees. He is now a mildly disgruntled history professor.
